On 28 January 2020, the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, paid a working visit to the Military Centre in Diekirch.
After being welcomed by the Minister Delegate of Defence, Henri Kox, and the Chief of Staff of the Luxembourg Army, General Alain Duschène, the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee had a meeting with a Luxembourg delegation. The topics discussed were the Alliance’s strategic developments including the deterrence and defence posture, as well as NATO's operations, missions and activities.
Following a briefing on the Luxembourg army, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach visited the National Museum of Military History of Diekirch.
